Riveting entertainment. I've watched it twice, now. Even if the story weren't claimed to be true, the show is SO WELL CRAFTED: produced, acted, edited, scripted, cast, scored, etc. It goes DEEP! Bared raw. The scene with the parents? OMG...heart-wrenching. An emotional rollercoaster indeed. Plus, I'm a sucker for a voice-over. Fekkin' LOVED IT!

Alan Shearer before the injuries was unbelievable, quick, strong , good in the air , shoot with both feet had to adapt his game as he lost a yard after the injuries but he did which again showed his quality and his football brain , best English centre forward I’ve seen and I’m 62 , played non league for 12 years and been a season ticket holder for 42 years at Chelsea before and after I stopped playing football so think I’m a fair enough judge

She told him that she wanted to wash his feet with her hair. He let her in and let her do it. He then took her to bed. He had to call the police and get a restraining order the next day. I'm not surprised it took going to Romania to get caught ( despite his current freedom of movement). The UK has almost no protections for women victims of sexual crimes . Elsewhere , these would be obvious investigation of suspect and protection for victim . And yes, I do know from personal experience. And,no, nothing happened to the guy because he's " vulnerable".
